PRiCAN (Primary Care Research into Cancer), based at RCSI’s Department of General Practice, is seeking participants to complete a national survey.
The aim is to identify the top 10 research priorities for the early detection of symptomatic cancers in primary care across Ireland. The survey is open to GPs and GP nurses and takes about five minutes to complete.
The survey is to be completed by November 28 and can be found at https://rdc.rcsi.com/surveys/?s=T3LKXRE7K3PRJ4WL
The results of this survey will provide funders, researchers, and policymakers both nationally and internationally with a clear framework to guide future investments and research in early cancer detection.
This process will highlight key priority areas, reduce duplication, and demonstrate the value of inclusive agenda setting in early cancer detection.
Following the survey (which is anonymous), there is an opportunity to volunteer to participate in a workshop to discuss survey results and distil research priorities - we would be grateful if you would consider this after completing the survey
